Our privacy approach

Use What Is Needed. Protect What Is Shared.

RushTree uses personal information to understand business needs, provide requested services, communicate with prospects and clients, and operate our business. We do not sell personal information for money or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

1. Scope

This Privacy Notice applies to websites and online experiences operated by RushTree, LLC, including www.rushtreeai.com, audit.rushtreeai.com, and schedule.rushtreeai.com, as well as related communications with RushTree. Our website is designed for business users in the United States.

This notice does not apply to information RushTree processes for a client under a separate services agreement or data processing agreement. Our sites may also link to services operated by others, such as Google, LinkedIn, or YouTube. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Contact information, such as your name, work email address, optional mobile number, company, role, and industry.
  • Business information and responses submitted through the AI Business Audit, including priorities, challenges, workflows, goals, and other company context.
  • Scheduling details, meeting notes, messages, files, and other information you choose to provide when you contact or work with us.

Information collected automatically

When you use our sites, we or our service providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages requested, approximate location derived from IP address, and date and time of access. We may also receive security, diagnostic, and server log information needed to deliver and protect the sites.

Information from other sources

We may receive information from scheduling, communications, and professional networking services when you interact with us through those services. We may also use publicly available business and professional information to understand or respond to an inquiry.

Please do not submit sensitive or regulated data.

Do not place Social Security numbers, payment card data, passwords, patient or medical information, or personal data about customers or employees in the AI Business Audit or general website communications. If a project requires sensitive information, RushTree will establish an approved process and appropriate safeguards before it is provided.

3. How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and secure our websites and services.
  • Review AI Business Audit responses and prepare relevant findings, recommendations, configurations, or follow-up questions.
  • Use automated tools to help organize or analyze Audit responses, with RushTree personnel reviewing outputs used in business discussions or recommendations.
  • Schedule meetings and respond to questions or requests.
  • Develop proposals, deliver services, administer client relationships, and provide support.
  • Send service messages and, where permitted, relevant business updates. You may opt out of marketing email at any time.
  • Understand site performance, improve our offerings, prevent misuse, comply with law, and protect RushTree, our clients, and others.

If you provide a mobile number, we may use it to respond to your request or coordinate an appointment. We will not use it for recurring marketing text messages unless we separately obtain consent required by law.

4. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to:

  • Service providers that support hosting, forms, communications, scheduling, email, customer relationship management, security, and similar business functions.
  • Professional advisers, such as attorneys, accountants, and insurers, when reasonably necessary.
  • Government authorities or other parties when required by law, needed to protect rights or safety, or necessary to investigate fraud, security issues, or misuse.
  • A buyer, successor, or other party involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality measures.
  • Other parties when you direct us or provide consent.

We do not currently sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this notice and provide legally required choices before the change applies.

5. Cookies and Technical Data

Our sites and service providers may use cookies, local storage, server logs, or similar technologies needed for site delivery, security, basic preferences, and technical diagnostics. As of this notice's effective date, the main RushTree marketing site does not use advertising pixels or targeted advertising cookies.

Some browsers offer Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Because industry responses to Do Not Track are not uniform, our sites may not respond to that signal. We honor legally required opt-out preference signals where they apply to our practices.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably needed to respond to inquiries, provide services, maintain business and security records, satisfy legal or contractual requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods depend on the type and sensitivity of the information, our relationship with you, and applicable requirements. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to backup and legal requirements.

7. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information in light of its nature and the risks involved. No system or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

8. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you. Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may also have rights to receive a copy of certain information, learn how it is used or disclosed, restrict or object to certain processing, opt out of certain disclosures, or appeal a decision about a privacy request.

To make a request, email support@rushtree.com with the subject line Privacy Request, or call 917-746-2202. Please describe your request and the state where you live. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable right.

You may unsubscribe from marketing email by using the unsubscribe method in the message or contacting us. You may still receive non-marketing communications related to an inquiry, meeting, project, or client relationship.

9. Children's Privacy

RushTree's services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through these sites. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and address it.

10. International Visitors

RushTree is based in the United States. If you access our sites from another country, your information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

11. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice to reflect changes in our practices, services, technology, or legal obligations. We will post the updated notice here and revise the effective date. We may provide additional notice when a change is material or when required by law.
